Daxie island is located in the middle of China抯 east coastline,

Port in 2002 is 153 million tons, increasing 19.8%, and ranked
the second among the ports in mainland of China, and the containers
throughput is about 1.85 million TEU with a growth rate of
53.2%, ranking the sixth among the ports in mainland, and
first for six consecutive years in growth rate.
Ningbo enjoys subtropical monsoon climate featuring mild
temperature, moderate humidity and distinctive seasons. The
city is a cultural city and tourist place with many natural
scenic spots and historical sites.
Including 15 cities of Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Yangtze
River Delta is the most dynamic economy in China with the
highest population density, most developed economy and affluent
people. Yangtze River Delta enjoys the fast growing economy
and the overall growing rate ranks ahead in China, surpassing
Pearl River Delta and Ring-Bohai economic circle, it becomes
the important growth part of the country in economic development
and opening to the outside. This region accounts for 1% and
5.8% of the whole country in land area and population respectively,
and the GDP in 2002 of the this region accounts for 18.5%
of the GDP of the country, with financial revenues and im
& ex volume accounting for 22% and 28.4% respectively.

As the regional economic center in the south flank of Yangtze
